Suburban 550 28 #1 Posted February 22, 2009 It's my first time posting pics of the 502 so I hope it works out. I bought this tractor with a pull start 6 h.p. Tecumseh thinking it was a 552 that somebody changed the engine and did away with the electric start. The pictures are after the Kohler engine with electric start was installed. The tractor was completely tore down, repainted and is in the process of being reassembled as a 702. More progress pictures to come in the near future. Operator 7 #4 Posted February 22, 2009 Great looking little tractor and a sleeve hitch too! Suburban, with 134 posts and just now figuring out pictures I don't feel too bad I haven't got it yet either. Let alone how to do "quotes". Randy

Suburban 550 28 #6 Posted February 22, 2009  guys. Believe it or not these are unrestored pictures of the tractor. Paid 200 dollars for it but it was all there. Seat is a real mess and I'm still lookin' for another one. Tractor was all brush painted so imagine the job I had ahead of me. Here are some more unrestored pictures of it and my restored Suburban 550 hangin' out together.

HorseFixer 2,013 #9 Posted February 23, 2009 Ray there is no doubt in my mind that if it even looks half as good as the 550 you will have a keeper!
Suburban 550 28 #10 Posted March 16, 2009 Well guys, as promised here are a few more pics of the 702 nearing completion. The tractor was painted basecoat/clearcoat and the only thing it needs right now to finish it up is a square pan seat. I know the next thing everyone will ask, is that tractor in your house. It is in a house, but not the one I live in. When I bought the house I live in, I was fortunate to get the house next door as a package deal. It's only used for storage and serves me well as a nice warm place to reassemble the tractors on cold winter days.
