Attaching tiller to 1975 c100?

Recommended Posts

I have recently bought a c100 and tiller. How do I attach tiller to tractor? Do I have all the necessary parts?

I attached some pictures and rototiller serial.

Not being a genius about this, this it a shot in the dark, and you need to use the search function to confirm.

You have the rear bracket, that attaches the tiller to the tractor. That's good, but also the cheapest of the parts needed.

You Need to determine if you have the idler bracket that sits under belley, where the deck usually goes. It guides the belt to the rear end.

You need to take a look behind that cover where the wire comes out the back. There should be a rockshaft with chain to attach that wire to, and then the chain to the tiller.

You may want a lift assist spring. Some like it, some not so much. Helps lift the tiller, and take some strain of the lift mechanism.

And you need a belt of cause :-)
