TJ 171 #1 Posted February 16, 2009 Just some before and after pictures of my 654. I learned a lot from this project; Like, did you know you can pay way to much for parts on ebay? It's true, they will let you.

Rideawaysenior 25 #8 Posted February 17, 2009 Nice job on the restoration. Also tip of the hat to your shop. I like the setup. Good lighting, good storage. Fritz is on the right track too. Nice grilled cheese while working. Just make sure no flammable vapors are around before you start up your stove/burner. There is the EHS in me. LOL
TJ 171 #9 Posted February 17, 2009 Thanks for all the kind comments. The tractor was a labor of love, but the motor is still giving me fits. The interior of the garage is all my fault. I designed and built it by myself.

fritz 1 #12 Posted February 17, 2009 Nothing to be a fault for in that interior. That looks awesome. I would be proud of that place. How long did the restoration of the 654 take? Sorry if that was answered. I didnt catch it. Did you sell your motorcycle for parts on the Wheel Horse? O HOLY GRILLED CHEESES!!!! My school made some for lunch. Teddy da Bear 11 #13 Posted February 18, 2009 I guess that settles it... Grill cheese must be served at the meet & greets!
TJ 171 #14 Posted February 18, 2009 Thanks again for the compliments. Now, a few shorthand replies. Sarge- It's a Tecumseh......I don't speak Tecumseh. Carberator issues (no surprise there). Fritz- It took me about six months to restore the tractor, but it could have been done a lot quicker. The motorcycle is resting under a cover, waiting patiently for spring. Pond- I try to keep to keep the work area clear.....I try. TdB- I love grilled cheese, and you are all welcome here anytime
