gregg'shorses 77 #4 Posted October 16, 2017 Also keep oil level to full line and try to minimize time spent on angle then run on level ground.

If you add both front and rear wheel weights that'll make it a bit more stable with a lower center of gravity.
skrusins 128 #6 Posted October 16, 2017 I have a lot of hills and keep the dipstick past the fill line because of the incline.

I have 20 x 8 x 8 front, and 23 x 10.50 x 12 rears. All filled with Rimguard. Roughly 24 gallons for 260+ pounds extra weight. Stability is definitely good. My main concern is the engine, up/down hills because Everything I drive on is a Hill. From what you all are saying I should be fine.
shallowwatersailor 3,213 #8 Posted October 17, 2017 A 15% slope is equivalent to 8.53 degrees. Another way to look at is a rise of 30 inches in 10 feet. Always mow downhill and never coast down.

Always mow downhill and never coast down. Seems like I should be fine. One of my most common hills to be on is going from the front of the house to the back. Ranch with a daylight basement. Drops seven or eight feet vertically in 24 horizontal feet. Never hang around there. I never mow with this machine. I do tow some pretty heavy weights up and down those Hills. Always always always in gear. I'm not adventurous enough to Coast even unloaded.
