MaineDad 85 #1 Posted February 15, 2009 So yesterday I had the C-160 out to move some stuff around in the garage. Everything was fine. Today I needed to move it again and the dang hydro would not move! It had enough power to lower and raise the lift, but not enough to move at all. She just whined really load when I moved the lever forward or back. So, I check the belt and there is plenty of tension when engaged. Routing is fine too. I guess the next step is to drain the oil and change the filter to see what happens. Dang hydro! We have a storm coming mid week too!
Docwheelhorse 2,561 #2 Posted February 15, 2009 I don't know where/how but I am willing to bet whats left of my 401K that you are sucking air somewhere. The whining is indicative of that plus didn't you post about having similar trouble a month or so back?? Tony
MaineDad 85 #3 Posted February 16, 2009 Tony, I took the pump end cap off and looked at the small pistons. The ring that holds all those little pistons was bent to heck and one of the piston heads was broken off. I had a back up set of pistons and a ring a she's all better. Actually runs much better now! You owe me what's left of your 401K
