520H blinking oil press light

When I am about to start my 520H and just turned the key to the run position without it running the oil press light will blink over and over, when I am running it it turns off but if I press the test switch while running it's there again. Just wanted to know if this was anything to worry about and if it could be bad for my 520H. Thanks

When key is on it's normal. Mine does same thing. Blinking while running might be different.

The oil lights all flash to get your attention. The test switch is there so you can make sure the lights are working.

Once the engine oil pressure comes up the oil light should go out.

If the oil light is on with the engine running shut it down and find out why it is on.
