Fordiesel69 268 #1 Posted September 10, 2017 Models: C-160 w/ Sunstrand Auto + hyd lift. Work Horse GT-1848 Auto + hyd lift. I have a cracked frame on the C-160 and it is quite severe. The work horse has bad steering but a mint frame. With these be a direct swap?
Racinbob 11,768 #2 Posted September 10, 2017 I want to say yes but I suspect that the cross pieces that support the foot rests, etc. will be located differently. Adapting it to work might not be difficult.
c-series don 9,468 #3 Posted September 10, 2017 The work horse came with an Eaton transmission. It may bolt up but the brake pedal and the other linkages may be an issue. If you had a C-161,or a 165 I don't think that you would have any issues.
953 nut 58,188 #4 Posted September 10, 2017 Repairing and reinforcing the frame of the C-160 would be a lot less work than a frame swap. 2
