WH69GT-14 0 #1 Posted February 6, 2009 Traded a *kinda* running Jeep for a '76 C160 and some $$!! It has factory wheel horse wheel weights and it has chains. It wasn't running when I brought it home cause the PO said the starter was bad, but when I checked it out they had the starter wire on wrong post so she runs fine now :horseplay: Will post pics as soon as I have a chance!! WH69GT-14 0 #20 Posted February 11, 2009 About the license plate....I was playing with features and ummmm....it stuck ....notice the white dot on the back of the seat as well Here are the pics of the hitch, the little tag on the hitch hits the cross brace on the plow mount Did I install right It's the only way I could get it to work and I searched on here (I really did!) and this is the way I think it was supposed to go unless I misunderstood
KyBlue 655 #21 Posted February 11, 2009 I thought it was supposed to go the other way?? Flipped 180 degrees...
Mike 6 #22 Posted February 11, 2009 mine goes in front of the transaxle after 2 days laying under it, thinking I had this on years ago, no heat in my shop & was 10 out, think I have CRS
Rollerman 290 #23 Posted February 11, 2009 Chris it looks like you might have an earlier style of rear axle bracket or hitch. Wheel Horse made a few differant variations. It should still work, but should be put on the forward faceing side of the axles like already mentioned. You want that cross brace to lay flat under the trans & further ahead so your draw bar hitch will still fit. You may need to unbolt the cam locks on either side & play around with it a bit with the combination of parts so it fits right. Check out this thread if you have not already done so. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=
WH69GT-14 0 #24 Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks for your help. I looked at that thread, but a bunch of the photos have been moved or deleted??? Does anyone have a pic they can post of it done that way??? I tried it the way you're saying to do it and it wouldn't work. I'll try messing with it again soon but a pic of one hooked up might help
