Adapt WH Onan to Gravely rider?

Has anybody ever commented on replacing an engine on another tractor, in this case a Gravely. Gravely used Onans and my old clunker needs an engine, just wondering if anybody has ideas as to how to transpose another engine onto the WH body. This idea may be preposterous, but who knows?
