520hC-120 136 #1 Posted July 5, 2017 (edited) Hi guys, I've posted about this topic and tried everything you guys have suggested me to do and sometimes my 520H holds it's charge for about 10 starts but sometimes it only holds it for one. I've replaced the 30amp fuse in the front near the starter and the 25amp one in the back, still nothing. My battery was new in January and has 80 more cold cranking amps than the old one. I don't really see a visible ground anywhere on the negative ground to frame, and the positive to solenoid and the are no exposed wires. Any help would be nice, Thank You Edited July 5, 2017 by 520hC-
lynnmor 7,858 #2 Posted July 5, 2017 Put a voltmeter on the battery. It should be above 12.6 volts and then rise to about 14 when running. If you haven't been keeping the battery fully charged it might be toast, so charge it fully and have it tested.
