Sloppy PTO

it seems like the bracket mounted on the motor  is smaller than others posted. What does the bolt on the far right do? I know from the drawings that a spacer is needed.

 

BTW this is a 1-0481

If the pto is driving a mower deck the belt is in the wrong groove. The inner groove will give a higher blade tip speed.

My experience with the PTO is that all the parts must be in good condition and properly adjusted for best results.  In your pic it appears that you're missing a spacer that goes on the 3/8 bolt in the triangular plate.  With the spacer in there and the nut tightened, the plate should be more level, so the trunnion can be adjusted better for the clutch contact.
