Tgtack 779 #1 Posted May 15, 2017 (edited) Is it possible to convert a K161T from pull start to an electric start? This would be to use in a 754 I recently picked up. It currently has a blown Tecumseh on it. The running K161T came with the tractor. It does have the mounting holes on the side for a generator mount. slammer302 2,156 #3 Posted May 15, 2017 My dad converted his 7hp Kohler you will need the right flywheel and I believe the round hoods used different mounting brackets to keep the starter gen lower. Not a 100% sure though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
