Blasterdad 3,044 #1 Posted April 29, 2017 As stated in my last topic "Easter Horse", my new job has left me no time to finish restoring the 48" deck that came with the C-120 auto. With grass a growin' I found this on CL, a 48" deck off a C-161, for $200, great shape, just a little surface rust. Has the newer greaseable spindles & round hole blades. Brought it home & cleaned it up, greased the spindles, sharpened the blades, (almost new) & hooked it up to the C-120. So, time to put the "new" girls to work for the first time, got the C-81 with the 36" RD deck out first to mow around the house, tree's, & bushes. she did a great job. Got the C-120 out next to finish the rest, drove her out into position, dropped the deck, & engaged the PTO.... WHAT A BEAST !!! Total different animal !!! Ran like the deck wasn't even there! This was the first time for me using an auto, took a minute to get used to, but didn't take long to fall in love! Cut my mowing time in half ! All I need now is a bigger yard.
