customrangers1 1 #1 Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) Busted the bottom out of my m8 fuel tank on my 308-8 this weekend. Anyone know if the tank from a 312 will bolt in under the seat of a 308? Edited April 24, 2017 by customrangers1

pfrederi 18,399 #5 Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) Your 308-8 used a Magnum Engine and the fuel tank came with the engine and is a Kohler part. 4175529-s. You are going to not be happy about your accident. Kohler wants $272 for the tank...hey they throw in the cap normally a $25 item...nice guys Do not thank any other wheel horse used it. Ariens used it as did Gardenway and some other companies. I think you should try to fit an underseat tank on your tractor they are more readily available used. Your motor has a fuel pump. aHorseofCourse 261 #6 Posted April 25, 2017 It will fit in but you'll need to get the left and right fuel tank support brackets. They aren't on the 308 models. Numbers 19 and 20 on here http://www.partstree.com/parts/toro/mowers-lawn-garden-tractor/21-12k801-312-8-toro-312-8-garden-tractor-1985/sheet-metal-and-covers_2/
