Out to Carls today

Hello to all, Well I haven't been out to the shop lately as unemployment just doesn't allow for all the running that I would like to do. So I loaded up the truck with camera in hand. I stopped by Steve's house real quick to drop off a few manuals and pick him up for a journey out to Carls. Well we finally got there and I almost get stuck on the ice. Carl comes out of the house to see whats going on. Anyways I got unstuck thanks to Steve. We head out to the shop and Carl was thinking we would have been there about 3 hours earlier, except for one sleepy head. Ok, so Carl had a picture of this tractor, C81 with sickle bar and he took and mailed the photo to these guys up in Michigan. Well they took the photo and made a tractor that looks like this. This would have been posted along time ago even before Christmas but somebody kept forgetting camera and besides that not much travel out to Carls because of $. Anyway here is the tractor, We believe that it's approxiamately about 1/2 scale. Sorry so winded Burly :whistle:

John,

I would never think that Carl sleeps late .... ya; may have interupted a late morning nap!

I love the cut out .... please give more information on how to get one.

The old advertisment Carl has on his wall of the Wheel Horse towing a airplane is neat too ..... sadly the Porter Cable garden tractor company already did a ad like that back in 1963.

Bill, Carl only sleeps until 8 am . I guess I might as well admit it was me. Probably too much Mt. Dew the night before and got up early around 4 am stayed up until about 6:30 am and went back too bed. Having no set hrs, like going to work, kind of bites( and yes I am being nice). Oh well, hoping for spring and lots of road work

The company who does this can do a cut out of just about anything I guess. Carl had me take a pic ( attached pic) and he sent it off to them. The cost was about $125 and took 2-3 months. If you compare the cutout and pic their pretty close and I do believe its powder coated to boot!

Hey Glenn when ya get the three of us together bout the only thing that gets done is mostly story tellin
