Amcwheel85 2,058 #1 Posted April 15, 2017 Well I'm sure you guys in upstate ny seen it but I had to have it and thank god the guys trusted me enough to hold it until I could get someone up there to get it. My sister used my dads truck and picked it up for me this morning. Now I have to wait for my dad to bring it down to tennessee! 1965 1045.
Amcwheel85 2,058 #3 Posted April 15, 2017 Thanks Elliot. Once I get it down here I'm just gonna spray it down with wd40 and cruise around with it. Starts right up and runs good so if I get it here before Evansville show I will take it there and haul my kids around in the wheel horse cart.
Aldon 4,826 #4 Posted April 15, 2017 I bought the fellas 551. Was tempted to load up the 1045 too. Owner was a real nice fella.
Amcwheel85 2,058 #5 Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) Good thing I didn't look at the Craigslist up there before you got to the 551 or I would of had both! I don't look up there as much as I should. Had to have this as I love the square hoods but not the biggest fan of the fender pan compared to the round fenders, so I've always wanted the 1045 Another thing is I have bought a few tractors since being in Tennessee but haven't found a wheel horse to buy and been craving a new horse! Amcwheel85 2,058 #11 Posted April 16, 2017 Last year I made it when I lived in New York. I will make it back there someday but this year don't have the extra time and money. Also been dying to go to the huge show in Evansville!
littleredrider 408 #12 Posted April 16, 2017 Dang it!! I saw that on c-list and was super tempted to get it. I had 2 of these, but both where incomplete and rough, so took two and made one, sorta. There is a horse I spotted a couple miles from our new house, it's the same front end, but can't tell yet what it is. Good score on the 1045!!
