Red144runner 658 #1 Posted April 11, 2017 Sunday I decided it was time to get the tractors ready for the nice weather. Took the 44" blower off the 3/15 first, then the dozer off the 12. Chains came off the 15 haven't gotten to the 12 yet, the cast iron will remain though. I used the 15 to haul my trailer, blower and a couple rakes and my old power thatcher today. Got all the dead grass up then blew it into the woods. So much easier to operate without 350lbs out front. The kids love the tractors and why not?
SylvanLakeWH 28,572 #2 Posted April 11, 2017 Great pics! But...a hand rake? Perhaps it is time your junior helper got a complete with power rake?
EricF 589 #3 Posted April 11, 2017 Mine used to love to grab the miniature rakes and help out when they were little... Good times. I still have the little rakes around even though the kids are grown -- great for getting in and around plantings and shrubs! I like the old GMC truck in the background. Used to have s Chevy of similar vintage, though with a conventional pickup bed. No-nonsense work trucks are kind of a vanishing breed.

I enjoy it, I'm glad they'd rather be outside than on a computer or wAtching tv. The truck is an '84 same year as the workhorse in my other thread. 3500, 350 4bbl 4spd with granny low. Runs great just re did part of the frame with the flat bed off. Battery died in a parking lot on Friday. Load tested battery, checked all the connections. Bad alternator, getting the new one tomorrow. And not soon enough cleanups are starting this week and I need it to move at the end of the month
