Value of my 1974 D 180

I was wondering if this forum could help me in appraising my 1974 D 180 tractor. This machine was kept as NOS still in plastic up until about 4 years ago. I powered it up and used it for a total of 88 hours. It has a mower deck with original battery that has not been filled with acid yet. If I could get a few guesses that would be great. Thanks!! Gary

    The "D" cost over $2,300 in 1974 and if you adjusted that for inflation in today's dollars it would be about $11,000. Will anybody pay that, I doubt it. I wouldn't be afraid to ask $ 4,000 if it were mine. A time capsule like that alone has value and you couldn't replace it with a modern day equivalent garden tractor for less. Others may not agree with this but it is my .
