Neat setup/ prettier than  mine.  Like the idea of using the flex hose.  Have to see if i can modify mine...

I like it Cas...did you have to do anything to the muffler itself.  (fabrication)???  :)

Pretty neat...

That would easy for a good muffler shop to bend up and duplicate if you wanted :) !

It is a 1969.

No, muffler is exactly as it came. That elbow on the intake makes it really very adjustable and versatile.

I was going to go with hard connections at first but for $20.00 decided to buy the flexible pipe, a 6 foot section so this way I could experiment with various setups. It worked out really well also since ID of pipe is 1-1/2" fitting perfectly over muffler pipe, and then the original chrome tail piece that came with tractor muffler when I got it is 1-1/2" OD and fits perfectly at other end. No clamps needed. Routed this way it does not interfere with anything or any attachments.

I finally decided to adapt the Jay Bee muffler to it.

Thanks Cas...I'm really glad that worked out for you.  They say necessity is the mother of invention and I think you hit that nail right on the head!!!
