I was looking at a 67 1057 and I dont know much about the "bee-hive" hoods so any help would be appreciated

The guy said all it needs is the mixture needle for the carb

I plan on restoring it if I get it

I was wondering about what their worth

Heres a couple pics of it

Worth depends on how much you wanna spend. Thats probably 100$ tractor in my neck of the woods if it runs. If it runs good 150$. Figure on it possibly needing front tire(s) as well.

The carb needle is a $25 dollar part???? And the big increase if he puts it in himself??? Not only would I not enter this guy in a spelling bee; I sure as heck wouldn't buy a tractor from him!

Also, look at the hood. It overshoots the hood stand significantly and is missing the latch. Steering wheel looks like it is off a WorkHorse 700 or like tractor. This tractor may have quite a few issues.

TT,

I plow driveways every storm and make at least $200

The most I made in one storm was about $380

ANd it seemed like it needed more than just a needle from the pics

Nice work, Chris...with this winter you must be making a few bucks! And what better use for those hard earned dollars than red tractors!

Offer the guy fifty bucks tops, and if he balks, walk away. At the worst it's got some parts that you could use on other projects or swap/sell around here, and at best it could turn out to be a runner worth putting some time and energy into to make it whole again. JMHO......
