Confused98 0 #1 Posted January 21, 2009 Hello all. I just purchased my new Wheel Horse 414-8. This is my first Wheel Horse. My brother in law is the one who told me about them. I have to say that this is a great tractor...I'm definatley glad that I spent my money on this instead of something out of a box that would break down. It came with a 42" mower deck and a blade...I think I got a pretty good deal, I'm happy that's for sure. The only thing I had to do was replace the throttle cable and I bought new chains for it. I'm new on this forum so bare with me, I'm going to try and post a couple pics. I also just finished pushing snow with it and it is AWESOME! :horseplay:

Confused98 0 #7 Posted January 21, 2009 Here it is with the chains and plow...now all I need is weights for it. Before I forget, I have to mention that the person I bought this from was great. He took the time to answer some questions after I bought it from him, some people wouldn't give you the time of day. Attached Image

CasualObserver 3,411 #14 Posted January 21, 2009 Confused98, Looks like you've started with a swell machine there. A couple of housekeeping items for you, please update your profile and signature when you get a chance. I see you've updated your avatar already. (nice choice by the way ) We like to see at least a general location in the signature, helps in case you forget to mention it in any posts where that information is helpful! Also, for posting pictures, we prefer if pictures are on outside hosting services. You can see an example here... http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=1071 When pictures are posted using the file attachment method, it sometimes makes threads very slow to get into and read. Other than that, thanks for joining us and sharing your photos! Looking forward to see you around the forum. and thanks to your BIL for getting you in here!! Good job Jason! bustedglass 1 #15 Posted January 21, 2009 Confused98, again . That is one sweet looking machine you got there. I too got a 414-8 back in the fall. But it is a basket case, and is going to require major renovation, which I plan to start in the spring. Have tried to start it, but so far, no luck . The guys are right, you will find much knowledge, and friendship at this site. They have given me a LOT of help with the 'horse that I use now, and I know when the time comes for help with my 414, I can count on fellow Red Square members    . Again, , and keep the pictures, and posts coming.

In the phone conversations I've had with ya, you seem to be a pretty knowledgable, friendly guy.I can relate to 98's kind words. Sounds like I let a good machine get away, what else is new. This site is a perfect fit for ya. I talked to the "warden" last night & got a somewhat ok to come up & see you Saturday morning. I'll try to get ahold of you later today or tomorrow to see if that is going to work for ya. Welcome again, Tom from Perry,Kansas
