Adams94 1,068 #1 Posted March 6, 2017 Looking at getting some fenders made for the c-195. Looking to see how much interest there is in any of these. They will be made out of fiberglass and will be set up for 1982 lever placement. They will be white, price will be $250 roughly. We havent started making them yet but will if there is enough interest. Let me know guys!

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,494 #4 Posted March 6, 2017 It would be nice to see reproduction fenders for all the black hoods.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,326 #6 Posted March 6, 2017 I would be interested in the 1984 style. Maybe you can just leave it complete and the owner can cut to fit either 83 or 84 style?

The first mold we would make would be off a 82 fender but I figured even though the cut out would be there for lower lever placement you could still cut in the upper one, it wouldn't hurt to have that lower cutout I suppose. Or better yet, have pre-scored locations (from the back side) for both and the owner will just 'knock out' the proper one... ericj 1,578 #9 Posted March 7, 2017 i thought that there was somebody already reproducing the fenders for the 195. I've heard other people say that so and so bought one but never actually talked to the person that bought a repop fender. eric j
Pollack Pete 2,273 #10 Posted March 7, 2017 There was someone making them at one time for sure.I bought one from RS member Baerpath.I have no idea where it came from.I do need another one though.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,326 #11 Posted March 7, 2017 I purchased one of those repros from te guy who was selling them but have not seen him advertise them here or on bay nor do I remember who he was. I compared his with originals and the originals had a firm straight line on the outside fender where the repop was concave.
Adams94 1,068 #12 Posted March 7, 2017 I have heard the same thing that somebody is making them but I have been watching for a year and haven't found one or the guy so I'm assuming he quit doing them
can whlvr 993 #13 Posted March 8, 2017 I personally like the standard metal fender on the xx5 series, dont care for the plastic look at all but that's just me

It has a fuel tank filler up out of the back (not under seat) and hydro control cutouts, so the standard metal replacement wont work.

Adams94 1,068 #17 Posted June 4, 2017 I got the first one done Friday am. Had it displayed at the Mentone swap meet. I am happy how they turned out and had a lot of compliments. One ordered already. I will post a classified add here soon. Well also may be looking into doing the seat pans for the other black good models

I don't have an 84 pattern to get the correct measurements for the holes yet. Pictures!! I had a lot of comments on these at the Mentone show. Aside from looking at the bottom they look identical to the original. They are heavier and not near as flimsy. 3
