classicdmax 190 #1 Posted February 26, 2017 Tinkering with tractor today, peeled the belt guard off as it's always been quite a bit noisy behind there with rattles and such. Found the belt certainly needs replacing, but also the tensioner pulley isn't quite that quiet when spun by hand. Before I try to press out a bearing that may or may not be removable, can anyone advise as to if the bearing can be replaced, or just to replace the whole pulley wheel itself? any part numbers you might have would be helpful. Also the oblong hole in the brake lever is a bit reamed out as well, I'll prob look for one of these whilst I'm in there thanks j- Btw, it's a 73 16h hydro

classicdmax 190 #5 Posted March 15, 2017 Where can I get parking brake spring? aforementioned spring above is discontinued thanks
classicdmax 190 #6 Posted March 15, 2017 There seems to be a lot of slop in belt, recently installed new tensioner pulley and new WH #7478 belt. While tractor is running if I apply a bit of pressure to parking brake bar which applies more pressure to belt the slop clears up a bit....I think maybe a new spring would help
pfrederi 17,168 #7 Posted March 16, 2017 The linkages on your 1973 look virtually identical to previous years Electros/Chargers. The spring on those was WH# 6135 and is still available for less than $10. I would give one of those a try.

953 nut 51,899 #10 Posted March 17, 2017 Take the old idler and spring to Ace Hardware or NAPA and they will probably have a replacement in stock.
