ericj 1,579 #2 Posted February 19, 2017 the factory recommends 10w30 in engine and trans on the 520-H, a lot of guys are using full synthetic oil in trans like mobile 1. Toro Bill 10 #7 Posted February 20, 2017 Manual says tranny holds 5qts, but it also says to fill with 4 quarts and add as need to get to fill line. Also be sure to change your filters! I'm partial to Wix but feel free to cross reference, FYI...NAPA Gold is same filter and number but without the 5 on the front. Engine- 51762 Tranny- 51521 Like sqonk says, make sure to keep the fins clean on both engine and tranny.
