Walleye 28 #1 Posted January 27, 2017 Ok, I have not tried to start this K91 since I bought it. I have a K90 that I bought along with it, that I have ran a little so I am using it as my baseline. I noticed that the governor cross shaft has axial play, and I wanted to know if this is a problem, before I try to start it. If it is a problem, what do I need to do? Also, the governor is not controlling the throttle shaft with as much tension as the K90 does, although I have been meaning to check the springs. The K90 governor holds the throttle wide open, but on this K91 it doesn't have nearly as much tension. This video is AFTER I clocked the governor arm on the cross shaft... I'm still learning on these small engines...
stevasaurus 23,285 #2 Posted January 27, 2017 That play is normal and will not hurt anything.
