illinilefttackle 399 #1 Posted January 14, 2009  I just finished plowing with the C-125 by head light for the first time! Awesome! Head Lights give plenty of light, tractor worked flawlessly. I actually got into the governor a couple of times whe she was pushing piles of snow higher than the blade. Rebuild was just the ticket! Plenty of power, never missed a lick. Man I love these tractors.-AL - Sorry, no pics, just me, the Horse, and the Nite.

Sparky-(Admin) 19,756 #3 Posted January 14, 2009 Yep, those sealed beam headlights are great. My first plow tractor had the dim 70's-"C" series style headlights and they were terrible. Mike............
Teddy da Bear 11 #4 Posted January 14, 2009 I am so jealous (headlights that work) And why do we not have pictures of your night time escapades Al????? (I mean the plowing...... ) My super c's lights don't work. I have put a meter on the switch and there is power to the swtch. And when switched on....there is power to the outbound side of the switch (when the connecting wire is removed). When the connecting wire (switch to headlights) is replaced.... No power measured on the outbound terminal on the switch. Double checked the ground on the headlights themselves. Still nothing. I am going to replace the wire itself as it must be grounding out somewhere.
linen beige 14 #5 Posted January 14, 2009 Sounds like you got the perfect birthday gift Al. Oh! and a belated even if it is in the wrong place. TDB. Sorry guys for going a bit Run a jumper wire straight from the battery to the headlight. If it works then it sounds like the wire from the switch to the lights is bad. If it doesn't work, check the sockets themselves for corrosion/ damage, then move on to the grounds. Of course it wouldn't hurt to make sure the bulbs are good. Is there a fuse?
