D160 56" Plow blade question

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone knows if the part on the plow blade on a D160 labeled "sector and channel" is interchangeable with the same part on the 300, 400, 500 series plow blade. I measured it and it looks to be the same size but not sure if it is actually interchangeable.  This piece on my D160 blade is damaged so I can only lock the plow in the center hole, the left and right angles are not locking due to misalignment.  I could probably take it apart and heat it and reweld it but I'm thinking that if it's interchangeable with the later model plows, I would prefer to get a 5 position part instead of the 3 position, assuming they are still available.   Thanks.

103475 has been replaced by 78-8760-01. Here is a partial list of the applications

https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro/parts/78-8760-01/

The 300-Series tractors are listed so should be the same except except it will have an extra pair of holes to give 5 positions to the blade angle.

Thank you. Seems like a 5 position piece will fit. Need to decide if I want to spend the $110 or try to fix the one on there.

It's not too hard to repair the main sector once it's all apart - mine was mangled badly and had cracked all the welds plus bent the hoop pretty bad . I ended up machining inserts and welding those in to strengthen the assembly . Would have been easier just to make a new one but it works just fine .
