1976 Wheel Horse B-80

I have a 1976 Wheel Horse B-80 Garden tractor. The mower deck finally went. Where can I find a new or used one? The original was a 38" rear discharge. Will take a larger one or side discharge so long as it fits my tractor.

  I agree...post a wanted ad with your location right here at Red Square. Also scroll thru the for sale section...maybe what you want has already been listed. 

  A 42" deck is probably the largest you'll want to spin up with an 8hp Wheel Horse...but it would be much happier with a 36" rear or side discharge.

I've had a bunch of B-80's and I recommend staying with a 36" deck unless you keep the grass mowed down. I usually end up buying another wheel horse to get a new deck. Alot of times it's a better deal this way. Most decks sale around $200-$300 sometimes more And decks can be rebuilt. Good luck.

I wouldn't go any larger than a 36" in deck. You'd really work that 8,HP with a larger deck.
