Great tires

Recommended Posts

BOB ELLISON

I was looking on cl for a new horse and found these. I don't know if they would work in snow without chains.

Power Master Rim Guard 7000 23x8.50-12SS tires mounted on wheels. These are new take off tires and wheels. Wheels have a 5 on 4.5" hole pattern with 3-1/8 center hole. Load range C

I have a ton of these so let me know how many you need! $50 each

These might fit my C160 there in

Central Michigan  2 hours from me.

Does anyone plow with without chains with ags on.  $50.00 EACH  sounds like a good deal to me.

That is a great deal. I'd take a pair but we won't be back in Indiana until next year. I think most will agree that turfs and chains beat ags and no chains in the snow and ice but I'll bet those would do pretty good. :)

I actually think they won't be great for plowing. It doesn't say how many Ply's they are but the harder the rubber and stiffer the sidewall the less traction you'll get. They are probably great on a skid steer that outweighs our WH's.

But for the price they are a great deal and will look cool as heck on a WH, just won't perform like a turf with weights and/or chains.

I think they are 6 ply 1800lb load range I magnifyed the side walls.

The good.... great price, look good,  flat free, no air required, never wear out.

The bad.....rough ride

Wish I were closer....do you deliver to the Big Show Bob?

Sorry road apple and Ed but there not mine I don't have any yet . I have not been to any of the shows yet but the next one I'll try to go to the next one.

These are listed on cl in Central Michigan. If you google craigslist central Michigan look for 23x8.50-12ss

Tires you'll see them.

Depending on which model :wh: you have the off set on the rims may be wrong. I know it does not look correct for any of my square hoods.

Those are not ags.  They are industrial.

Good for hard pack dirt, bad for snow and ice, mediocre for grass.

They will spin on snow and load up. Too hard and stiff and poor tread pattern for snow/ice.

I'd bet they are poor for garden use too.

Good price though at $50.

They look like bobcat or skid steer tires.

Same pattern, yes.

John Deere runs them on their Sub Compact tractors.  My BIL has them on his 4WD Scut and hates them.

He has a snow blower and can't get traction in the winter to push the blower.  In the summer, they destroy his lawn.

For general working with his loader, they're not bad.  He says he'd take turfs over these any day.

Thank you all but I think REDRANGER is spot on. So I'll pass them up for my C160, it's the ride I'm afraid of . It would be a bad ride . This is the kind of info we need so we don't BUY something we'll regret later. A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE.  And so is my money.

If some one wanted to do a custom industrial yellow :wh: these would look fitting for the project.
