Awesome pics!

I love the paint scheme on the rear rims of the rat-rod.

Thanks guys, normal - what's that?  Things are settling down a little, but life is still nuts!  I took this picture in Dad's driveway.  He's got plenty of room for the little guys to roam.  I've been clearing out some of his fields where they've grown up around the edge and decided to take a break.  Emory had a ball as we'd almost forgotten what fun his little tractors could be!

Thanks guys!  I bought the rat as a rolling chassis that had been neglected for years (trans. full of water, but not locked up).  I decided to go a full on rat without disturbing the original tractor too much.  I just used a scotch brite pad to knock the rust down and then shot it with clear.  The hood had been lifted with a block of wood and I decided to make a wooden block and weld the headlight mounts to it.  I think it looks pretty good.  The biggest challenge was rusting the new metal I used to match what had occurred over the years.  Pretty cool what a little vinegar, peroxide, and salt can accomplish!  Best part is the straight pipe that ends in twin chrome tips under the transmission - almost sounds like a Harley!!!:auto-dirtbike:
