I think the boogered one I showed might have a bit more life in it as long as everything else was decent and preferably a non-working show tractor. I bought that transmission off of Craigslist and I was told that it works great he never said that I would need a ratchet strap to hold it in 3rd gear luckily I took it apart before I installed it on anything! 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For years the owners manuals stated "depress clutch/brake pedal halfway when shifting while in motion". It's no wonder so many of these gears got ruined.
