Huntemcd 239 #4 Posted November 3, 2016 I wasn't sure because isn't one older than the other. Isn't the original made for the new series
Huntemcd 239 #5 Posted November 3, 2016 So could I take the canvas from an original cab and stick it on my wheel horse frame work. I have that nos cab and if I could get another cab cheap enough with good canvas I would take my nos canvas off and put old canvas on
shallowwatersailor 3,214 #6 Posted November 3, 2016 There are two different rear fabric pieces for the two different versions. One version is like Craig's photos, and the second one bowed out in the rear because of the later 520-H suspended seat. Only the framework pieces and fabric were changed on that one, the rest of the frame and fabric pieces remained the same.

MalMac 1,332 #8 Posted November 4, 2016 Original Cab Co made the cab for Wheel Horse. The cab pictured above is a older style cab. The newer style use's different frame work and different canvas. The newer style is a larger cab. Orginal Cab still makes the newer style on a very limited basis.
Huntemcd 239 #9 Posted November 4, 2016 I have a 77 wheel horse cab right now. If I could get a cab and it is an original can and switch canvas could I do that. Because my cab is an nos cab. I don't really want to ruin the canvas.
MalMac 1,332 #10 Posted November 4, 2016 If you can get the same vintage it would work. All the new stuff out there will not. The Orginal Cab Co. use to be good about selling you the vinyl and window material. I know guys have bought that and taken their old sides and windows in to places that make custom covers for boats, covertable car roofs, etc. and have new ones made from the old ones using them as patterns.
