C-121 w/ Shaker Plate - I know there was a wire???

Getting close on my C-121 project.  Down to the wiring but have hit a wall.

I took pictures before I tore it down.....but...

I seem to remember that there was a wire (a 6 or 10) that was on the shaker plate that looked to be a ground(?)

but the picture of that area is blocked by something in that area.

Is there an additional ground wire that connects the engine to the frame (?) or am I confused?

You need a wire from shaker plate to frame.  The engine is grounded to the plate by the engine mounting bolts

Thanks!!  At least I know I was not seeing things.  Is there a recommended size wire??

I would use the same size as my battery cables
