question of the day

Just picked a 520h and plan to mow with a 60" deck on it. The problem is the tractor looks so tiny with the 23" rear and 16" front tires on it. Has anyone tried running 26x12x12 rears and 18x8.50x8 front tires with a 60" deck? That is what I would like to try but don't want to waste money on the tires if they won't clear. Thank you

I recently picked up a 520 to put a 60" deck on, and I can't lie, there isn't much room around the tires, I have a feeling you'd maybe have issues turning with larger front tires, and larger rears are for sure going to be tight.  Just went out and took a pic for ya.  Hope this helps.

My 90 520 had 25 X 9.50 X 12 rear tires. The P.O. had shimmed the rear fender pan up about an inch. He also had some spacers to move the wheels out some. I cannot use this set up with a 42" RD deck so I took everything off. Tires with wheels will be for sale if interested. Here's a pic

I can't speak for the owner of this :wh:, but I can see a reason for that handle being there.  When I mow the bank in front of my house I sit halfway on the fender and seat and I usually grab the fender there to kind of steady myself.   A handle located on the fender there would probably be useful.

Mike, what kind of weights are those? They fill the space nice. Also, what do they weigh? Thanks

How much per pound . I got to figure shipping cost so I got to add 1 + 1 together to get my final cost and then figure out my offer. I only got ten fingers and 10 toes so it is kinda hard to figure the " goes inta ".

Wheel spacers go with the wheels. I have them on local. CL. If I don't sell them they'll be at the show.
