Tonyp 285 #1 Posted October 1, 2016 I have the 315-8 with the Kohler Command CH15, Nikki carb. It runs fine but is running at around 3200 rpm Hi speed. Looking at it as well as reviewing available info there does not seem to be a clear HI SPEED adjust for this Nikki carb. I would like to get it running around 3500 or 3600 rpm, spec is 3750. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,438 #2 Posted October 1, 2016 Do not know what the 315-8 throttle control looks like but where the cable first gets to the engine there should be a way to adjust the amount of travel the throttle cable core has. That is the only adjustment there is for maximum throttle. It has to happen before the governor spring. It may be as simple as adjusting the cable casing where it is clamped to the engine.
