grinchsr 647 #1 Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) The question is can I call the oil level switch bad or stuck if I hit the test switch and the oil light is solid and the crank case is full or should I be looking some where else? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,509 #2 Posted September 27, 2016 No you can not call the oil level switch bad. Too many other components in that circuit. If you have power in the light blue wire going to the oil level switch and power in the dark blue wire coming from the low oil level switch with the key in the START position the switch is working. If the power is not getting through the switch it may simply need to be cleaned.
