ACman 7,655 #26 Posted October 5, 2016 Thanks Jeff ! The previous owner had the panel and switch removed to get to the neutral safety switch . He started it twice and mowed some grass before driving it on trailer but he said he was pretty sure it needed a new switch and neutral adjusted . I'm sure glad I have a good wire guru to help us out with this . I new before hand that these that these 520's have some wire gremlins .
WVHillbilly520H 10,376 #27 Posted October 5, 2016 Check out my "Good Friday 520" post April/May this year and what I did to resurrect that 236 hr '95 and the headache to find the missing neutral safety switch tang, the wiring gremlins are mostly from that Molex connector and open fuse panel, then the grass chaffe/dust plus moisture equals chaos, anyways good luck and happy 520ing, I love my original '97 anniversary model and 2 more couldn't hurt plus a low hour 523Dxi, that should be enough for a while......at least that's what the wife says,Jeff.
