Upper Canada 213 #1 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) C-120 went down last night due to throttle clamp falling apart. I am looking for kohler kit clamp, part # 48-755-10. I found one on ebay but it is going to cost me $25 after exchange rate and insane shipping cost. If anyone has one they are willing to sell or know where I can get one a heck of a lot cheaper it would be appreciated. I can paypal if someone has one to sell. cleat 7,263 #2 Posted September 23, 2016 I don't have one but it looks fairly straight forward to make. Looks like a larger bolt cut to length and drilled then tapped. A smaller short bolt is then screwed into it. I could likely do that with a mini grinder and a drill press. Just an idea. Cleat
Upper Canada 213 #3 Posted September 23, 2016 I have been thinking about that. I could probably machine one up at work.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,509 #4 Posted September 23, 2016 Still available from Kohler. Have a local dealer? https://www.partstree.com/parts/kohler-engines/parts/48-755-10-s/ Garry
Upper Canada 213 #5 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Well I contacted two different dealers in my area that were both Wheel Horse dealers until Wheel Horse was discontinued. Neither could find the part even with the part number provided to them. So I came up with a temporary fix until I get the proper part. I used a ground lug. (The pic is sideways...would not post right side up for me) Edited September 23, 2016 by Upper Canada
cleat 7,263 #6 Posted September 23, 2016 Looks great as long as cable just needs to pull. I used small ground lugs to attach the chute rotation cable on my old short chute snowblower.
Upper Canada 213 #7 Posted September 23, 2016 Cable pulls and the lug swivels. I used a 1/4-20 bolt with two nuts on backside. The lug is not tightened down. I already tested it out and so far so good.
