Motor up front with the prop shaft between yer legs out the rear.... I wondered what that thing was. I thought it liked some kind of boat. I don't know a dad burned thing about boats though. cdr_warsstar 106 #27 Posted September 12, 2016 Didn't get anything, too much had to come off to get everything out. It does kind of look like a boat. Here's what it would have looked like in it's prime.
Tonyp 285 #28 Posted September 14, 2016 nice find !
cdr_warsstar 106 #29 Posted September 18, 2016 Did a little bit of work on it. 3 tires hold air, at least for a while. The other, not so much. But at least it rolls easier. Tried a little bit to get it to start. Hooked up a battery, turned the key, and... crickets. So I need to start testing things, and the whole wiring harness probably needs to be rebuilt. No long term plans for this yet. At the very least, I'd like to get it running, and then I'll decide if I'm going to sell it as is, or start restoring it myself. cdr_warsstar 106 #30 Posted September 20, 2016 (edited) I started thinking about plans for this, and I realized that I should go back to the house (it still hasn't been knocked flat. Not sure when it will be.) and look for wheel weights. I figured that since the guy had a snow plow on it, it was at least possible he had some. I looked but didn't find any. I did find this. A McLean Husky Big Wheel. I'm not sure how we missed it before. I'm going to try and get it tomorrow. It appears to have a mower deck. I wish it had a plow instead. cdr_warsstar 106 #31 Posted September 21, 2016 Got it. I'll start a new post in other models, and if I start working on the Wheel Horse, I'll start a new one based on what problems I end up having with it.
