Changing Belts on 520-H Tractor/48" Deck

Wheel Horse 520H Driver

Hello everyone! I am new to Wheel Horse and the Forum as of today. I recently purchased a Wheel Horse 520-H. I think it is a 1986 or 1989 model with a 48" mowing deck. I was halfway through the first cut of our lawn when the belt(s) broke on the 520-H, leaving me to finish the yard with the old push mower. Anyway, I was able to purchase two (2) new OEM belts at the local Power Equipment store (a 1594 V-Belt and a 94-2501 V-Belt). Does anyone have any experience with installing new belts? Any helpful hints and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Hopefully this won't be a real difficult procedure. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I think the belt cover is all you have to take off. You also have to remove the pto attachment belt too.. the hoop around the pto is in place with 2 pins. Someone will chime in if I  incorrect.

:WRS:  Your belt change shouldn't be difficult.  Remove the mower deck from the tractor to make it easier to remove the belt covers.  You might have to remove part of the carrier assembly to get the covers off.
