315-8 Engine & Exhaust Heat

Has anyone noticed the heat that hits your right leg on a 315-8.  Is this because it's has OHV?  My dad is a diabetic and burned his leg pretty bad.  We have a 314-8 and don't have that kind of heat blowing on the right leg.

 

We just got this tractor a few months ago.  I just cut grass for the first time and could feel the heat blowing on my right leg.

I have a 314-8 (same engine) no heat problem.  If you think this is hot, try mowing in shorts with an Onan under the hood.  It may be 95 degrees out, but I wear pants!
