econo 32 #1 Posted September 2, 2016 Hello guys I was looking to find out the correct size for one of the belts on my 855. It is the belt that goes from the engine to the starter/generator. It has had a 3l-320 on it but as soon as it gets a little slack the engine won't turn over. There is no more travel left on the adjustment. I tried a 3l-310 but too tight. Lane Ranger 11,445 #4 Posted August 5, 2017 (edited) Although 1583 belt is no longer available a 33 inch Napa belt is! Some of these Kohler motor and starter/generator combos appear to need the 33 inches. The brackets can be adjusted but only so much.
