Went on our annual August trip to Bedford PA to visit family and ran across this " Endless Tread Tractor " at a flea market/ yard sale on Sunday. Did not have a way to bring it home and I got " the stare " as I jumped out of the truck yelling " never seen any thing like that before" . Got home and hit the net. It was build in Cumberland , Md. in the 50's .Weights 150 lbs and expertly balanced ( not even close). Found the information on " The Vintage Garden Tractor Page " . The unit I saw has a B &S engine  . Hope you can see the pictures below.Scan0007.jpgScan0007.jpg

Jim...hard to believe you could not find room for that little gem.  :)  We have a member here (jwl) that is really into the walk behinds.  He is in Iowa.  I would bet he has seen one of these.  Thanks for sharing those pictures.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Driving the wife's Volvo , she had hit every yard sale and flea market before Sunday so I am surprised there was room for me in the car.

You missed a golden opportunity to buy a new trailer to haul it home with and the perfect reason to yell at your wife for her yard sale and flea market addiction!!!!!!

JUST KIDD'IN..........JUST KIDD'IN.......NEVER YELL AT YOUR WIFE.....

THAT'S HOW THE LAWYERS GET RICH.....  :ROTF:

Seen one at the Steam, Gas and Horse Show held in SW PA in August. Looked just like the one on the top pictures. I was intrigued by how dangerous it looked to operate. Like so many other things built 40 or 50 years ago, safety was way down on the list. Getting work done was #1.

But would not mind having one a around.
