Hey Ammoguy, I know you posted this a long time ago but I have been searching for the manual for the 1-7231 and have not been able fine one to download as of yet and would appreciate if you could email one to me.

There were 2 different engines used in 1968 and this is the manual for the late production using Bendix starter, 10 amp alternator and magneto ignition w/points-condenser

 

 

Early production used starter/generator and battery ignition.

Thanks Garry, I do have the early production one, but I think this will do for most things!

This one should work for the engine and wiring. Uses the same K301S-4712B engine.
