I have a guy that may be interested in trading an unrestored 414-8 with no attachments. I would like to know if there are any neg's about the 14 hp kohler. TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted December 28, 2008 Any idea what year the 414 is? The 1986 model had the K-321 engine, and the 1987 to '89 models have an M14 Magnum - all of which are great engines. He called looking for a plow for his 414 but i fugured maybe i can work a deal for cash and my 312 wplow only. Sparky-(Admin) 23,147 #6 Posted December 30, 2008 I have a couple of Magnum 12's and I think their great engines. With the electronic ignition you wont find yourself having to mess with points. Stigian 1,234 #8 Posted December 30, 2008 I have a Magnum 12 engine in my (would you believe) 312-8, and Im with the rest of the Guy's, they are great engines Always starts first time every time and is never short on power Yup, a Magnum has a lot going for it I didn't know that these engines have electronic ignition, but maybe that's because the engine has always ran so well, Ive never had to do anything to it :omg: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
