FlyingRed 7 #1 Posted August 20, 2016 So yesterday I started mowing with my c105 I mowed for about 30 min with no problem. Then it started acting like it was going to stall so i gave it some choke and it came back around...I did this several times until finally it shut off. So I proceeded to take the air filter off and cage and put my hand over the carb and it started right up and stayed running. Question is why did it loose prime on the fuel? SylvanLakeWH 28,499 #3 Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) Assume good / clean gas? I would clean carb while running with spray cleaner at intake and add seafoam to the gas to start. I have a 1982 C 105 and when I first got it the carb was gummed up. Doing the above did the trick and it runs great... And welcome to the Black Hoods Club - Love Em... Good Luck! Adding a fuel filter is always a good idea if it doesn't have one already and check fuel tank screen for being partially plugged with dirt and crud. Fuel pump failing has already been mentioned.
