Kohler K 91T rebuild

Hey guys I just bought a suburban with a Kohler K 91T on it. Previous owner said it ran. The carb is all gummed up and I don't have a pull start for it. 

It does seem to have compression. 

Now to the questions:

- Can I buy a new carb or a rebuild kit? Where and how much?

- Where can I buy a complete rebuild kit for the motor?

- Does anyone make a rebuild kit to get more than the 4hp out of them?

Ebay has most every thing you will need. Most of the stuff is good stuff just do some research, before you buy ask about it here, somebody here probably already tried it.

After market carb $30-$90

Carb rebuild kit $10-$40

Complete rebuild kit hard to find for K91 but their out there

On ebay you can find every thing you need for a basic rebuild.

But before you start, get a copy of the K series service manual, even if your a seasoned professional, if this is your first K the manual is worth the coast!

If you have a NAPA close by they often have are can get parts for these Ks.
