If you feel the need to use your :wh: to take care of that, just hook up dryer vent hose to exhaust, start engine, point hose at ice and melt.

They are very real Steve. A few years back we had a cold snap Florida style. Several nights it dropped into the upper 20's. When that is forecast I leave the pool pump on overnight. The expansion and contraction from the cold nights and sunny days caused the couplings on the solar panels to leak. That was the result. :D

 

We were lucky they didn't totally separate. The pool would have been emptied over the side of the house. :-o
