A few years back we had a cold snap Florida style. Several nights it dropped into the upper 20's. When that is forecast I leave the pool pump on overnight. The expansion and contraction from the cold nights and sunny days caused the couplings on the solar panels to leak. That was the result. We were lucky they didn't totally separate.
