how do you guys get steering wheels off

i wondered how you guys get steering wheels off the wheel horses. i dont know if trick i use on my sears suburbans would work on a wheel horse due to the cast iron peice. i would be afraid of shattering it. watch this video and you will see why i say that.

 

if this video isnt allowed then tell me. this little trick i used alot. and so it got me wondering if you guys do something similar. this is a harbor freight bearing seperator on bottom and  a harmonic balalncer puller on top

I had to get a wheel off of my 1267. The roll pin would not budge so I had to shear it. A small HF bearing separator under the wheel, backed up by a large separator. Then a big honkin gear puller to grab the large separator. turning the gear puller screw was a 24" cresent wrench:)  I bent the bolts on the HF separator but the wheel came off. :banana-wrench:

i havent bent seperator yet. pulled 3 steering wheels with it so far and a couple other items now puller bolts yes lol
