illinilefttackle 399 #1 Posted July 27, 2016 Hi Guys- fixing a friends 1990 312-8. model# 31-12K801. Need to order a new drive belt. I took these old Illini eyes thru Parts Tree & Toro Parts viewer - both are giving me the same Belt number for the 312-8 & the 312H, is that right? belt 7473. 953 nut 58,326 #2 Posted July 27, 2016 Should be a 5/8 X 82" aka HB82 for a 312-8 5/8 X 81.5" aka HB81.5 for 312 A. Since no one makes belts in 1/2" increments they just round up. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,281 #3 Posted July 28, 2016 From the belt charts and believed to be correct 1990 312-8 Transmission drive belt 78-7100 replaced by 7473 - HB x 81.9" or 5/8" x 81.9" 1990 312-H Transmission drive belt 108501 - (HB/5L x 81.50" or 5/8" x 81.5") I don't know why the online parts lists show the same belt for both models but there is not much difference in them.
